🌊 Hello all! Just wrapped up the editing for a remarkable photography session taken at Ballyconnigar Beach, County Wexford.
📅 It’s been just over 17 months since my last shoot before I announced I’d be stepping away from photography and taking a break from landscape photography.
🔋This extended break gave me time to reflect, recharge, and explore new ideas. I met incredible people, visited new places, and created unforgettable memories along the way.
🔄 So now after just over a year and a half out of action, I’ve decided to return to photography with renewed creativity and a fresh, new style for my images. And to explore many new places.
📸 Stay tuned for more breath-taking shots and join me on this exciting new journey!
🙏The support on my channels has always meant the world to me so I cannot thank you all enough.
🤝 Since starting this page in back in 2018 it has allowed me to meet new people and to strike up new connections with those close to me. Cannot wait to share more adventures with you all and to capture lots of more images along the way.
🙏Until next time—keep staying positive, stay creative, and see you all soon!

📸 Embarking on a journey into smartphone photography can be both exciting and daunting for beginners. With the ever-evolving capabilities of smartphone cameras, capturing stunning photos has become more accessible than ever before.
📐 Tip 1 - Master Framing:
Framing is essential for creating visually appealing photos. Pay attention to how you position your subject within the frame. Use elements in the scene to frame your subject naturally, such as arches, doorways, or trees. Experiment with different compositions to find what works best for your subject.
🌅 Tip 2 - Capture the Golden Hour:
The golden hour, which occurs during sunrise and sunset, offers beautiful soft light that can enhance your photos. Plan your time around these times for the warm low hanging sun.
🔼 Tip 3 - Utilize a Tripod:
A tripod is a valuable tool for stabilizing your camera and ensuring sharp, clear photos, especially in low light conditions or when using slower shutter speeds. Invest in a sturdy tripod that's compatible with your smartphone and use it to capture steady shots with ease.
📱 Tip 4 - Shoot in RAW:
If your smartphone camera supports RAW capture, use this format instead of JPEG. RAW files retain more image data and allow for greater flexibility during editing, especially when it comes to adjusting exposure and colour. Shoot in RAW mode whenever possible to maximize the quality of your photos.
🎨 Tip 5 -Edit with Vibrance:
When editing your photos, opt for the vibrance tool instead of saturation to enhance colours while preserving skin tones and avoiding oversaturation. Increase the vibrance slightly to make colours pop without making them look artificial.
🌟 These five essential tips offer valuable guidance for photographers at any stage of their journey.
📲 Remember, photography is a journey of learning and discovery, so don't be afraid to experiment, learn from mistakes, and most importantly, enjoy the process of capturing meaningful moments.
